Claremont High School Academy

Claremont High School is an outstanding academy, preparing young people aged 11 to 19 to reach their full potential.

The school has a strong track record of success in enabling students to achieve extremely well.

Ofsted, 2015

Students benefit from a forward-thinking and future-focused curriculum, first-class facilities and an exciting range of co-curricular activities which nurtures talents, builds confidence and develops skills, enabling them to succeed and thrive.

I would recommend Claremont because the teachers are very kind and hardworking, making sure we have a bright future. The supportive atmosphere in the school has been here ever since we joined in Year 7.

The academy is renowned for its excellent teaching and for academic achievement. Each year exam results at GCSE and A Level are first-rate, with students progressing to leading universities, including Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions. This enables them to enjoy rewarding professional careers in fields such as Medicine, Finance, Law, Teaching and Business.

I am so grateful to have spent the last 6 years at Claremont High School Academy. They really care for you as an individual and about your future. The facilities are amazing, and the co-curricular opportunities are vast, allowing students to pursue their interests and develop their skills. I wouldn’t swap or change my experience in the slightest.

Nargis Ghani, Teacher

The school’s ethos and values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness & Courage are celebrated and upheld across the school so that pupils of all ages enjoy learning and developing the skills they need to achieve even more success through their transition to high school. These values are also deeply rooted with staff and is reflected in their teaching and the way they engage and support one another.

Staff, including those at the start of their careers, are overwhelmingly positive about the support that they receive with their workload and well-being.

The curriculum is ambitious and inspiring alongside a number of trips, workshops, events and extracurricular activities on offer. Seeing the impact of their rich and exciting pupil experience drives Sudbury Primary School to provide further exceptional opportunities for our young people.

My experience at Sudbury Primary School has been incredible. I have loved the teachers and think it is great that we have so many specialist teachers. The subjects are brilliant and there is lots to do outside of the classroom. For example I have been on the College Council and have enjoyed a trip to the Synagogue.
